Last fall, I had the privileged of taking engagement photos for two of my closest friends. We had a great time wandering around Chicago and finding good light.

top gun
When Mikie and Michelle first began dating, Mikie took Michelle on theme dates. He sent her a clip of a song as a teaser in the morning and that night they would dress up and go out. Mikie asked me to take pictures to document the fun.
The first theme date was Top Gun. We had a great time trying to recreate Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis' bad-boy-gets-the-girl pose. Then we had some fun of our own.
